Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the WIOA approval process take?

The WIOA approval process typically takes 2-4 weeks from your initial WIN Job Center appointment. We recommend starting the process as early as possible.

Can I use multiple funding sources together?

Yes! Many students combine WIOA funding with scholarships or payment plans to cover all program costs and living expenses during training.

What if I don't qualify for WIOA?

Don't worry! We offer flexible payment plans, scholarships, and can help you explore alternative funding sources like TANF, SNAP E&T, or private loans.

Are there any costs not covered by WIOA?

WIOA typically covers tuition, books, supplies, and may provide support services like transportation and childcare assistance. Your counselor will explain what's included.

Do I need to repay WIOA funding?

No! WIOA is a grant program, not a loan. You are not required to repay the funding as long as you complete your training program in good standing.
